LIVE COMMERCE: FEEL THE VIBE OF A NEW SHOPPING ERA
On 1 December, at 11:00-11:45 ChinaEU will host a panel at the second edition of the EU Cross-Border E-Commerce Forum. This is a two-day event gathering representatives from the cross-border e-commerce supply chain at Liège Airport. The site was chosen by e-commerce giant Alibaba as its European logistics center, or eHub, officially in service as of the beginning of November.
In the panel, we will be talking about the power of live commerce in reshaping the new shopping era and will explore among others the following aspects:
- how live commerce has been improving the lives of consumers and even farmers in China, where the first shoppable live shows appeared some five years ago;
- the opportunity for European brands – big and small – to sell to Chinese consumers via live streaming;
- how live shopping is now coming to Europe and starts to be used by Western platforms and European brands to approach local customers.
Join to discover this and much more from our panelists:
If you register for the event in presence, make sure you take time to also visit the Lab Area, to experience first hand a live streaming studio with Chinese influencers selling Belgian products from Liège Airport directly to final consumers based in China, and to try new retail models.
If you cannot travel to Liège, you can register for a free online pass , follow the discussions remotely and interact virtually with other participants on WHOVA event and conference app.
